Under new leadership! Please be patient while we reorganize!

Our History

Let me tell you why I want to help...

So, here it is: I am a one-woman show.
I love this industry and am trying to put my own voice out there to help where I can. I started Safe Salon Supply, LLC, now known as Saiph Pro, after I completed the MNT course through Medinail Learning Center. Since I launched this business, this idea, a lot has changed in my personal life. I'd hope to be much further along in this business by now, but alas, it is just me. So, please be patient. I am trying!!

I want to make it so much easier for YOU to get the products, supplies, equipment and training you are looking for to improve your safety and sanitation processes at your salon! Nail art classes are great, and they are easily available. Safety, health and sanitation are not glamorous. There's no glitter here. The payoff is harder to see, but believe me, it's there!

I want you, yes YOU, the one reading this, to know that all great things started with one idea from one person. Then it grew into a team of supporters. Whether you support my dream through being a customer, a sounding board or many other ways of wonderful support I've received, know that each of you is a part of my dream, and I am grateful. But, please be patient.
I can't yet offer free shipping or huge discounts on products. I can't get things overnight and most of the time things are drop-shipped by each supplier so things arrive separately. With your continued support, this will change, we will grow and be able to offer you even more.

Even Walmart was started my one man, Sam Walton, with a dream to make things easier for the consumers. Apple was started in a garage by two college buddies. Saiph Pro was started by one nail tech that wants to make it easier for you to be healthy and safe.

Thank you for your continued support. Thank you for helping me with my dream while I help you with yours.

Now, if you're still bored and/or interested, let me tell you about me.

My name is Crystal 'NinaDawn' Patton. I became a nail technician in 2002. I was a single mom to a 12 year old son and struggling to find time to tend to his needs and work in the Architectural industry. At the urging of my then-nail technician, I enrolled into Tri-Cities Beauty College for the Nail Program.

I worked in the beauty industry for a year but failed to find consistent success. So, I went back into the Architectural field where I worked as a CAD operator and Architectural designer for the next 6 years.

In 2009, I was blessed with a new addition to my family. We soon moved to the Asheville, NC area, and I left the Architecture world to concentrate on being a mom and wife. When my little one was ready for pre-school, I wanted to go back to work part time. However, the demands and deadlines of Architecture require nothing less than a full time career. So, I dusted off my nail tech license and fate had me to meet the owner of a local nail salon in a class. She invited me to work with her in her salon.

In 2014, I decided to further my education by enrolling in the Medinail Learning Center's M-ANT/MNT program. It was hard work, but dedicating my Sundays to study I completed the program in December of 2014. I was able to enjoy nearly two years at a podiatry office in Hendersonville, NC, as an MNT.

The idea for this business came about after receiving my Medical Nail Technician Certification. I set out to find the medical grade equipment required to improve sanitation, disinfection and sterilization techniques. It was difficult to locate these items and get answers to salon-specific questions. Some people in the medical field did not understand the need for these items in a salon. After taking the course with Medinail Learning Center, I realize how important this is - not only for my clients but for myself as a nail technician.

With that, Safe Salon Supply, LLC was born - a comprehensive resource for salon professionals. It is my mission to make having exceedingly high standards easier for every salon that wants to show how they care.
We are expanding our products and services through Saiph Pro. This division will offer carefully chosen implements and disposables, as well as offer continuing education.
My passion has always been to be in a supportive role, helping others succeed. From my days as an architectural design assistant, to helping boost someones confidence with a well manicured hand, I always enjoy helping others smile. My hope for this business is that it helps your business succeed by standing head and shoulders above any so-called competition in your area. Once you raise the bar to a higher level, though, you will find that you are the competition to beat! Others will see your success and you will help to elevate an entire industry. The education is out there. Now the products to support that education are easy to find in one place, dedicated to salons.
In the midst of all this, my family life changed. I became a single mom again and moved twice within 13 months. I have recently relocated back to Johnson City, TN, from Asheville, NC, to be closer to my family. As stated before, it's just me at this computer. Dealing with suppliers, customers, social media, phone calls (mostly hang-ups from telemarketers >:-c ), email, bookkeeping, taxes, inventory, travel itineraries, you name it. But I do it because I believe in the idea. I believe that this industry is changing. I believe that if I can make it more convenient for you to be safe and healthy, you will make the choice to do so. I want to be your support. Thank you for your understanding, patience and your support. I can't do this without you.

I look forward to doing business with you. Please email me at sales@safesalonsupply.com if you have any questions or comments.
